University of Michigan student's death called suspicious

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -

A 25-year-old student was found dead Wednesday morning.? The medical student failed to arrive for his scheduled assignment at the Veteran's Hospital. Police say an associate was sent to check on him, and found him dead in his off-campus apartment. That associate called 911.

The Ann Arbor Police Department is calling the death suspicious.

The cause of death has not been determined yet. The Washtenaw County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy.

The student's apartment is in the 200 block of North Ingalls.
