COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) ? South Carolina business leaders are meeting with scholars and trade experts on China to discuss how to build communication and stronger business ties between the two cultures.
University of South Carolina spokeswoman Peggy Binette says Thursday's forum is the third such meeting at the Darla Moore School of Business.
David Hudgens of the school's office on international activities says participants include Luke Chan, finance and economics professor from McMaster University in Ontario, Ke Liu, dean of the International Business School at Beijing Language and Culture University and Michelle Wang, president of M Gourmet Group in Columbia.
The event is free and open to the public from 2 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Registration is encouraged.
